despite the heavy rain and overcast sky, sally hopped to changi beach to get into action. luckily for us, the rain cleared up for about an hour and a half or so. no clouds, very little sun, and very gloomy people. but those who were there tried to make the most of it, and quite a few responded well to our approaches.

sally returns

after an absence that stretched for about a month or two, sally saloma returns, along with her owner. i apologise for the slipshod entries that i’ve penned recently, i did mention that i would not write until i found myself again.

now that i’ve snipped a few hairs off my head, i realise that i don’t really need that black curtain to have some confidence, or self esteem or whatnot. oh well, hair issues beb.

yesterday i managed to get myself out of bed, and met up with heikal, fizah, jj and charity at sembawang beach. seeing that i was about to join 4 photojourn students, i was expecting to learn alot from them, which turned out to be true.

so i found a way to install photoshop on this old computer (which has “40GB!” & “256MB!” stickers proudly plastered all over its exterior), and tried some black and white editing, the simplest yet most stressful of all edits. i don’t think i did it well enough, but practice makes perfect.

watched i am legend at fizzi’s too. good plot and all, but the ending was too abrupt for my liking. but the darkseekers, woi, fierce.

hair

for those who don’t already know, my beautiful, swinging, swanky brown hair is going to make way for the medical check up that i am supposed to attend in january. so a hair cut is in order, and i am thinking of many hairstyles. can you all please vote, since so many of you keep saying “when are you gonna cut your hair fiq?” everytime you see me. it’s like, a conversation starter. i mean, for you guys it might be funny and fun and interesting and all…but it gets kinda stale if you get the same reaction from everyone for 3 years.
