losing my touch as a designer
losing my touch as a photographer
losing my touch as a person
i need a break.
School. it brings you nothing but politics, backstabbing, bitching, unnecessary competitiveness and random excursions focused on brainwashing your mind.
life’s too short for negativity.
till i find myself, this blog shall take a break.

sunset near the chendol stall near my kampong. heh. heh. heh. very angry sun.
with napfa just 2 weeks away, i am finally finding the strength to get out and do some running. hopefully i’ll pass the test, but there’s always the january one to look forward to if i don’t. but at the rate i’m going, i might as well not turn up for the november one.
School is heavy, yes. I don’t understand why some lecturers can’t structure their syllabuses so that the students enjoy learning, rather than put them through hours of talk. what do we learn at the end of the day? nothing. all we do is read through the lecture/tutorial notes when there’s a test coming. that’s what we do.
in my opinion, attachments are the only ultimate way to learn. I learnt more in the first 2 weeks than i ever will in the first 2 years. and my attachment spanned 25 weeks, so, do the math. why? because you take charge of the things to do, you have your own deadlines. you don’t worry about what to hand in the next day, because all the work you do is left at work. that’s the way school should be.
but obviously, the higher authorities have bigger plans for us young singaporeans. let’s see where this huge education plan brings us. a society full of stress, politics and boiling emotions.
people should just stop. i’m not even asking for us to look around yet. just stop first. once you can do that, take a look around.
there has got to be more to life than this.
